After sight-seeing at Kathmandu, we approach to Syabrubesi by tourist bus an estimated 8 to 9 hours relaxing journey. After we reach Syabrubesi for next some days we visit many places, full of natural abundance. Within the journey, we will get lots of opportunities to view the mountains, high current rivers, and stream, custom, and tradition of indigenous natal of the region, local food including yak cheese, cultural mountain drinks, the rare vegetation and more. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport

Day 02: Pre-trip meeting and sightseeing around the Kathmandu valley

Day 05: Trek to Tatopani (6/7 hrs.)

Day 06: Trek to Thuman (6 hrs.)

Day 07: Trek to Briddim (6 hrs.)

Day 08: Trek back to Syabrubesi

Day 09: Drive to Kathmandu

Day 10: Transfer to the international airport for your final departure

Physical fitness
Tamang Heritage Trek can be done by anyone with a normal health condition as it lies in Langtang region. It is a moderate trek that takes you to the beautiful valleys and amazing region of Nepal. It is ok to practice carrying the weight which will be helpful to carry your stuff.

Lodging and food
We will be greeting you at the International airport and make your stay possible at one of the 3-star hotels in the town. While you are on the Trek, you will be staying at the Teahouses/Lodge. The stay may be twin sharing or single(depends on what you want and it is difficult to find a separate bedroom at high above). Likewise, Access the Asia will take you to the best possible place where you can enjoy the hygienic Nepali as well as International food. Accommodation with breakfast, lunch and dinner at different areas during trekking and in camping as per the holiday plan will be provided. For the Lunch and Dinner, while staying at Kathmandu, you are responsible for the payment. There will be the farewell dinner with every guest after they return from their Trek.

Best Time to travel
February – June, September – November is the best season for this trek.

Transport
Generally, we offer tourist bus for Trekking. If you want to travel in private vehicles then we can make it possible but it may take extra charges. Flights are also available.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport

First day as you arrive at Kathmandu you will be received from airport by our company representative and transfer to the hotel with Bed & Breakfast plan.

Day 02: pre- trip meeting and sightseeing around the Kathmandu valley

The very next day after you arrive to Nepal our company representative will take you to various renowned places of Kathmandu like Boudhanath, Bhaktapur durbar square, Kathmandu durbar square and many more for sightseeing. The sightseeing will help you to understand the ancient culture and tradition of Kathmandu Valley. After the completion of sightseeing we will gather together to plan about our trek for the days ahead.

Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi by Tourist Bus

As per the planning, on day third we will departure from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi by tourist bus. It will take 6 to 7 hours of drive which is really an exciting bus drive as you will see various beautiful places that are naturally rich and culturally affluent. The rivers, forest, natural vegetation and others are the prominent features of the places that we are going to pass by during our drive. As we will reach Syabrubesi our trek guide will transfer you to guesthouse.

Day 04: Trek to Gatlang (5 hrs.)

After having breakfast early in the morning we will have ascent from Syabrubesi. After leaving Syabrubesi for about an hour or two we will reach a place from where we can see the attractive scenery of Ganesh Himal, Gosaikunda Range and Many other collection of Nature. Then we will reach Gatlang passing Goljang valley. It will take 3 hours from there to reach Ghatlang. Ghatlang is a beautiful Tamang village. We will stay at community lodge for rest and dinner.

Day 05: Trek to Tatopani (6/7 hrs.)

Day five requires 6 to 7 hours of trek to reach Tatopani from the Ghatlang. Tatopani means a hot water in Nepali language. It is given name because it has hot springs on the area. The ambitious Bhote Koshi river, the birds, the forest are the salient features of the trail. You can also take bath in the hot spring which will provide a natural therapy and relaxation to you. Day 06: Trek to Thuman (6 hrs.)

From Tatopani we will reach Thuman on 6 hours of walk. To be on Thuman we have to cross Nagthali dada. We will stay for a while at Nagthali Danda to recharge our energy to take our journey further to Thuman. Thuman is a Tibetan influenced Tamang village. The main religion of the village is Buddhist. We will stay at lodge in Thuman.

Day 07: Trek to Briddim (6 hrs.)

Our journey continues at this after having breakfast at Thuman. The trail we are going to pass by are narrower somewhere and flatter somewhere. After we descend we will first reach to Timure and have lunch over there. After lunch we will gear ourselves to Briddim. The investment of 6 hours walk will finally take us to Briddim. Briddim is culturally rich Tamang Village. It is mostly influenced by Tibetan culture. We will have home stay at Briddhim which will help us to observe Tamang culture from near and mingle ourselves with it. We will get to know about the language, tradition, culture, arts etc. of Tamang people at Briddim.

Day 08: Trek back to Syabrubesi

On day 8 we will return back to Syabrubesi from Briddim. It's a 3 to 4 hours of trek. Then at Syabrubesi our trek guide will take us to guesthouse for dinner and rest.

Day 09: Drive to Kathmandu

Then at day 9 it’s time to say goodbye to Syabrubesi. From Syabrubesi after having a breakfast we will drive back to Kathmandu. As we reach to Kathmandu our trekking guide will take you to the hotel. At Kathmandu the company will organize a farewell dinner for you.

Day 10: Transfer to the international airport for your final departure

At day 10 our company representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan airport for your final departure.

It is full of adventures and is completely different from the one that is in your country. Its trekking trails are rugged and rough and take you to minimum altitude of 3000 m and maximum to 5000 m plus.

If you are physically fit, who can walk minimum of 4 hours then it is definitely for you. The minimum trekking altitude ranges from 2000 m plus and can go up to the maximum altitude of 5000 m plus.

Yes, you will, because you will be trekking in the remotest himalayan region of the world, where you are not familar with its trail, villages, people, and their culture. There, the local people do not speak English much, so you need a trekking guide, who can speak their language and Nepali.

Children under age 18 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Above this will be accompanied by a guide.

Climbing peak or trekking peak is an easy peak whose summit can be reached within 1 or 2 days. Its height ranges 6000 m plus. Some trekking peaks are Island Peak, Yala Peak, and Mera Peak.

It must include the terms and conditions that you need while trekking in the Himalayan Region in an altitude of 4000 m to 6000 m. Your travel insurance company must provide you Helicopter Evacuation Service. Normally, it will cost you up to US $5000 in Nepal. If you are coming to Nepal for climbing then you must do climbing insurance in your country as well. Carefully check the terms and conditions of your insurance company, especially what they cover during trekking and climbing.

US $ 20 a day is enough to buy a bottle of mineral water, tea, coffee and so on in the remote Himalayan Region.

Yes, you should. There is no fixed rates for tipping. Its up to you. But how much you tip should be reasonable.

The trekking guides of Access the Asia are well - trained in the first aid; they also carry the first aid box and do the necessary treatment for you.

You will be flown to Kathmandu in a helicopter for medical attention.

Lodge or guest house accommodation.

Lodge, where, you will have meal, provides you drinking water. A liter of mineral water at lower elevation costs US$ 1, but at higher elevation, it can cost up to US $4.
