Overview

Annapurna base camp trek is a trekking that takes you to the the lap of the world’s 10th highest mountain “Annapurna”. The trek route is one of the best-renowned trekking routes in the world. Annapurna Base camp trek also is known as “Annapurna Sanctuary” trek.

It is the agglomeration of different landscapes and in short period of time, it will take you in the lap (Annapurna Base Camp-4130m) of spectacular Mount Annapurna I (8091m). Additionally, you will also be able to get the mesmerizing view of Annapurna South (7219m), Machapuchhre (6993m) and Huinchuli( 6441m). This trek is suitable for every age of people. Even you can do it with your children depending upon on your itinerary.

Beginning with beautiful valley Pokhara-valley of lakes, you will pass through many waterfalls, terraced farmlands, typical ethnic Nepalese villages, rivers, lush rhododendron forest( depending upon season)-at the appropriate season the whole jungle is covered with red/crimson rhododendron flower which wraps whole jungle just like a Kangaroo wraps its baby in its pouch).

Our trips start from Nayapul and to the Ghore Poon hill ,which is a popular tourist destination itself. The morning sunrise from the Pun hill is glorious and eye capturing. Passing Deurali we will reach the ABC (4130m), then we return to Jhinudanda vai Bamboo. Jhinudanda is very popular for its natural hot water streams, you can take a natural hot water bath which is indeed very pleasant and it recharges your tired muscles and re-energizes you.

This trek can be done any time of the year. However, in winter the snow level rises and gets quite difficult and at worst case, even the Basecamp may be closed. If you want to get most out of your trek spring season could be the ideal season, with rhododendron forest full on bloom.
