Day 1

After your arrival at the TIA (Tribhuwan International Airport), Kathmandu, you are received with warm and hearty welcome by our friendly and accommodating staff along with welcoming banner stand sign outside the arrival terminal. Meanwhile, it is followed up by short welcoming procedure in a typical Nepali tradition and you are escorted to the luxurious hotel in Kathmandu. During this time period, you can feel the vibes of the bustling lifestyle of Kathmandu city. Various cultural heritages and ancient sculptures with magnificent monasteries are the center of attraction in Kathmandu city.  Furthermore, you are provided with pleasantly brief details regarding your stay in hotel. Day 2

One of the explorative days begins with your breakfast and a short meeting regarding the brief details of your trek. You meet with our managing director and the representatives of our company along with the staffs allocated for accomplishing your wonderful journey to Everest Region. Meanwhile, our city guide provides you the brief details of the city tour allocated for this day and you are provided with the grounded private transportation for this particular tour. Kathmandu, also known as the ‘ City of Temples’ has lots of ancient monasteries, unique sculptures, important religious and cultural sites, delightful culture, customs and unique lifestyle of people living in the capital city of Nepal. Kathmandu city has become the dwelling place for people from all over the country. Hence, this is the perfect sample for unity in diversity. People of different religion, culture and unique lifestyle have collaborated together to unite in this wonderful city. Some of the important tourist destinations of this city are Pashupatinath Temple ( one of the most holiest places for Hindus), Syambhunath and  Boudha Stupa (two major Buddhist monasteries), Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square (Ancient sculptures and architectures with Pagoda style Temples), Newari culture, customs and cuisine (Indigenous and traditional community of Kathmandu city).

Day 3

You leave your hotel early morning with a packed breakfast from the hotel you stayed. You are picked up from your hotel and you set out for a drive to the domestic section of TIA airport where you take an early morning scenic flight to Lukla. You can have an aerial view of panoramic mountains and birds view of the high hills and mountain ranges.

The thrilling and exciting flight to Lukla is an amazing journey from where you start your first hike to Phakding. It covers the forest areas, small villages and rivers on the way. Lukla is situated at an altitude of 2840m whereas Phakding is at an altitude of 2640m.

Hike duration: 3-4 hours

Note: As the flight schedule might change due to current system made by the airline companies. The flight might be from Ramechap, the eastern part of Nepal, around 131 km from Kathmandu. Weather forecast is also another factor for fight delay. If there is delay in the flight, another suitable alternative is taken into consideration.

 

Day 4

After you take breakfast at Phakding, you set out for a hike to Namche Bazaar. This hike is estimated to be around 5 to 7 hours as per your strength and body condition and Namche is located at an altitude of 3440m.

During this hike, you encounter with outstanding mountain ranges and Dudhkoshi river flowing along the side of the Namche Bazaar. You have your lunch before you go ahead than Monji as this place is the last point to get food until you reach to Namche Bazaar.

This hike covers the dense forest with a glimpse of Everest and Lhotse before you reach to Namche Bazaar only in the condition i.e. the weather must be good and the view must be clear and visible. This inclining trial becomes more exciting as you are heading towards the gateway of Mt. Everest and the well-known trading center of Nepal.

Day 5

This day is allocated for acclimatization in order to adopt with the increasing altitude. Along with this, there are lots of exciting and beautiful spots like coffee shops, bars and restaurants to spend a quality time in a peaceful way.

As this is the trading center so that you can visit around Namche Bazaar and Namche Museum which is 20 minutes hike from Namche eventually hiking to Namche Monastery.

Day 6

Early morning after breakfast, you move from Namche Bazaar and aim to reach Thame crossing Bhote Koshi River. On the way, you find lush forests with pine and rhododendron which makes your trip more interesting and fuller of aroma. You can also view the amazing Sherpa community with typical ancient village and mud plastered Gumba at Phurte. Along with this, you pass through Thamo Village crossing the Thamo Hydroelectricity Power Plant and ultimately reaching to the end of the Khumbu Valley which is considered to be Thame.

Thame holds the ancient memories and it has produced one of the great personalities in the field of mountaineering. Great personalities like Apa Sherpa, who climbed the Mt. Everest 21 times and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa, who climbed the Mt. Everest for the first time along with Sir Edmund Hillary were born here in this Sherpa Community Village.

Day 7

This day is allocated to pass through different villages where you can have various experiences and vivid views of the amazing landscapes and terrains. Nakpa Valley is considered to be the old route to Tibet which holds the memories for the Sherpa Community People and the ones who passes through it. Along with this, you can visit Taranga and Marulung Villages on the way eventually reaching to Lungden Valley. On the way, you can see the wide green pastures with Yak farm around the valley.

Day 8

On this day, you are set to stay here for acclimatization to get rid of AMS. Along with this, you can hike around the Lungden Valley exploring the lifestyle of Himalayan People and explore the majestic mountain views around the valley. With this, you prepare to trek towards Gokyo passing through the first pass that is Renjo La Pass early morning with light breakfast.

Note: Basically, depending upon the physical condition and the overall health condition of the clients, we manage to stop for acclimatization either at Lungden Valley or Gokyo. Taking the panoramic views into consideration, it is wise to stay at Gokyo during acclimatization. Somehow, if the health condition and physical situation is not up to the mark, you set out for acclimatization at Lungden Valley.

Day 9

On this day, you set out for a trek early morning with a light breakfast. This is the day where you pass through the first pass i.e., Renjo La pass (5360m). After you reach the Renjo La pass the majestic views start to appear the more you move ahead. The panoramic views of sky rocketing mountains like Mt. Everest (8848 m), Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Makalu (8463m), and Mt. Cho Oyu (8201m) are some of the highlights during this trip. The icy trial leading you to the Gokyo Valley is the challenging route and is full of thrilling experience.

Hike duration: 7-8 hours

Day 10

Early morning, you set out for a hike to Gokyo Ri to view the beautiful sunrise through the mountains making it the stunning sunrise ever to witness. The more you move upward the more exciting scenes keep on approaching. As the trial is steep upward, it is considered to be quite challenging trial because this is the trial which takes you above 5000m eventually reaching to Gokyo Ri which about 5357m. From the top, you can see the stunning view of Choyu, Mt. Everest, Mt Amadablam, Mt. Makalu etc. You are surrounded by huge Himalayas where you stay at the top looking at the panoramic views of the mountains. After that, you go steep downwards to Gokyo. And, after breakfast, you set out for a hike to Dragnak by crossing the largest glacier of the world Ngozumpa Glacier. You have to be cautious in this trial as it is prone to landslides.

Day 11

On this day, you can find one of the adventurous and thrilling pass known as Chola pass which connects the Everest region and Gokyo region. After early morning breakfast at Dragnak, you set out for a Hike to Chola pass. At first, you go steep upward in the morning where you are deprived of the sun rays which makes your surrounding a bit cold. After few hours, you can reach to top of the hill with green pastures and bushes. And, you go slight downward and start the rocky part initiating towards Cho la Pass. After reaching at the top, you can see the scenic view of Khumbu valley and the mountains on the other side of your trekking trial. And, for about half an hour, you have to walk on ice which is more exciting and thrilling experience during this trekking route. After few hours walking downwards, you can view the scenic beauty of the mountains like Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Lobuche, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse etc. Eventually, with these beautiful scenes, you reach to Zungla.

Day 12

Considering all these days of early morning trek, you start this trek late morning after scenic breakfast. This hike is shortest hike as compared to others. Therefore, you have plenty of time to reach Lobuche with the scenic beauty on the way where you walk above Cholache Lake with green pasture land walking through the Lobuche peak base camp reaching to main trial of Everest trek.

Day 13

After taking breakfast at Lobuche, you set out for an exciting and amazing hike full of gigantic mountains ahead during the hike. First, you hike to Gorakshep and Everest Base Camp on the follow through where you can see some mountaineers aiming to reach to the top of the Mt. Everest.

 

This hike is the platform to experience the most thrilling experience in this lifetime. Although, the view of Mt. Everest is not clear during this hike, you aim to reach to Kalapatther for the better view of Mt. Everest. This hike is estimated to be around 8 hours hike.

Day 14

Early morning after breakfast, you set out for a challenging trip of this journey reaching to the highest elevation of this trek which is Kalapatther i.e. 5545m.  The previous day, you explored the base of the highest mountain of the world. However, you couldn’t view the majestic scenes of the Mt. Everest which is possible through Kalapatther. Along with this, you can have the mesmerizing sunrise from the top and you can feel the unique kind of amusement while exploring from the top of this journey’s trip. And, you hike back to Gorakshep eventually reaching to Lobuche for an overnight stay there.

Day 15

This day is the day where you pass through the most challenging of the three passes i.e. Kongma La Pass starting from the Chukhung Valley. During this trip, you pass through the Yak pastures along with Frozen Lakes that make your journey full of surprises and amusements. Ningyang Khola Valley residing in the Khumbu region, we pass through the eastern part of it through the Kongma La Pass eventually reaching to Chukhung Valley the ultimate destination for this day.

Day 16

This day you set out to explore the Chukhung Valley early morning after breakfast and you descend downwards through the Imja Khola Valley and Dingboche. During this trip, you can find the stone walled potato fields and Yak farms with Yak pastures along with Highland Sheds at different places.  And, you finally reach to Pangboche for an overnight stay there.

Day 17

After breakfast in the morning you descend downwards from Pangboche to Namche Bazaar through Tengboche where you can have the distinctive views of the peaks like Amadablam (6856m), Mt. Everest (8848m), Nuptse (7861m) and Lhotse (8501m). During this trip, you can visit Tengboche Gompa, the oldest monastery in the Khumbu Region.

Day 18

After an early morning breakfast, you set out for a hike to Lukla for an early morning flight back to Kathmandu. During descending down to Lukla, you cross the Hillary Suspension Bridge and the route of the Dudh Koshi River Valley. This is the final day of your trek and after this day, your trekking is over and you can have the best memories to share with your loved ones in the future. With all the memories from this trek you ultimately aim to reach Lukla, the final destination of this trek.

Day 19

After early morning breakfast at Lukla, you set out for a flight to Kathmandu. During this flight, you can have the bird view of the sky rocketing mountains and hills. After landing on International Airport of Kathmandu, you are escorted back to the Hotel.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS PARTICULAR TREK??

Though, you will be provided with the basic necessities for this trek, you have to manage clothing to get rid of the frost bites as you go to the highest altitude where the weather is pretty unpredictable. Knee cap, layered clothes, snow googles, trekking shoes, thermal inner wear, windproof jackets, down jackets etc. are the few personal things that are really important for this trek. Among these important things, you can buy or rent few of these items here in Nepal. Normally, during this trek, it is good to have veg foods and eggs to keep you fit and healthy throughout the journey. And, pure drinking water is available throughout this trek.

                   

WHAT IN CASE OF EMERGENCY??

In case of minor problem, we carry medical kits and altitude chambers to take care of the situations as per the requirement. In some cases, there might be some changes in the itinerary as per the situation which is handled by the leader/guide of the group for the mitigation of possible risks ahead in the future. In any serious situation, we have the evacuation procedure with the help of the extremely professional and experienced team members.

 

                   

PRELIMINARY AND KEY NOTES

  • Greeting ‘Namaste’ (your palms held together) is the most respectful and attractive way to greet somebody and is practiced profoundly.

 

  • Accessibility of internet and phone calls can be made efficient using the mobile SIM Card provided by the company itself or you can buy easily in the local market. All you need is one passport sized photo and a photocopy of your physical passport in either case.

 

  • There are lots of major cultural heritage sites in Kathmandu along with the ancient monasteries and sculptures. Photos are not taken unless you have asked for the permission.

 

 

  • The nightlife in Kathmandu is mostly safe and concentrated in Thamel area, one of the busiest destinations for foreigners to hang out with varied options of bars, restaurants and other places to choose from. Somehow, other areas including small towns are closed before 10pm.

 

  • Nepalese people are friendly, truly kind and incredibly welcoming as there is a phrase in Nepali culture ‘Guests equal Gods’. Out of the blue moon, there are several chances of being cheated. Saying this, you are somehow prone to possible travel scams. Keep yourself and your belongings safe, if you are travelling solo. It is highly recommended to have one experienced guide, taking safety into consideration.
                   

ADVISORY

  • Non-bio degradable materials are not allowed to dispose in the trekking route randomly.
  • Proper follow of the guidance provided by the leader/guide of the trek.
  • Alcoholic beverages and other intoxicating substances are highly discouraged.
  • There might be the chances of bad weather so be prepared for the inconvenience caused by the unpredictable weather.
  • Try to be mentally and physically prepared before this trek with few short hikes before this trek is highly recommended.
