The ascent offers a chance to get a taste of the Sherpa people’s hospitality, way of life, and local culture. An excellent way to prepare for expeditions at higher altitudes, like those to Mount Everest or other 8,000-meter peaks, is to climb Lobuche Peak. It gives climbers a chance to gain confidence and experience before trying more difficult climbs.
