WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS PARTICULAR TREK??

Though, you will be provided with the basic necessities for this trek, you have to manage clothing to get rid of the frost bites as you go to the highest altitude where the weather is pretty unpredictable. Knee cap, layered clothes, snow googles, trekking shoes, thermal inner wear, windproof jackets, down jackets etc. are the few personal things that are really important for this trek. Among these important things, you can buy or rent few of these items here in Nepal. Normally, during this trek, it is good to have veg foods and eggs to keep you fit and healthy throughout the journey. And, pure drinking water is available throughout this trek.

Itinerary

Day 1

You arrive at International airport of Nepal (TIA) where you will be welcomed and picked up by our staffs escorting you to the luxurious hotel of Kathmandu. During this drive, you can feel the vibes of the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu, which is also known as the city of temples. And, you are provided with the brief details of the trek from our staffs. If there is anything inadequate for the trek, you are provided with the possible available convenient way to reach out to it. You have an option to stay in Kathmandu the next day with an amazing city tour including the cost of all the permits of important religious sites (Pashupatinath, Syambhunath and other important sites). This also helps you to get over the jetlag or you can start trek the very next day where you set out for a scenic flight to Lukla. A comfortable and luxurious stay in hotel of Kathmandu for this night.

Day 2

After having breakfast in Kathmandu, you are picked up from your hotel and you set out for a drive to the domestic section of TIA airport where you take an early morning scenic flight to Lukla. You can have an aerial view of panoramic mountains and birds view of the high hills and mountain ranges.

The thrilling and exciting flight to Lukla is an amazing journey from where you start your fist hike to Phakding. It covers the forest areas, small villages and rivers on the way. Lukla is situated at an altitude of 2840m whereas Phakding is at an altitude of 2640m.

Day 3

After you take breakfast at Phakding, you set out for a hike to Namche Bazaar. This hike is estimated to be around 5 to 7 hours as per your strength and body condition and Namche is located at an altitude of 3440m.

During this hike, you encounter with outstanding mountain ranges and Dudhkoshi river flowing along the side of the Namche Bazaar. You have your lunch before you go ahead than Monji as this place is the last point to get food until you reach to Namche Bazaar.

This hike covers the dense forest with a glimpse of Everest and Lhotse before you reach to Namche Bazaar only in the condition i.e. the weather must be good and the view must be clear and visible. This inclining trial becomes more exciting as you are heading towards the gateway of Mt. Everest and the well-known trading center of Nepal.

Day 4

This day is allocated for acclimatization in order to adopt with the increasing altitude. Along with this, there are lots of exciting and beautiful spots like coffee shops, bars and restaurants to spend a quality time in a peaceful way.

As this is the trading center so that you can visit around Namche Bazaar and Namche Museum which is 20 minutes hike from Namche eventually hiking to Namche Monastery.

Day 5

After having breakfast at Namche Bazaar, you set out for a hike of almost 5-6 hours to Tengboche where you can visit Tengboche monastery which is considered to be one of the beautiful monasteries in this entire trek. It is the small valley which is located at an altitude of 3867m and this hike is moderately difficult but filled with full of excitement and joyfulness.

Hike duration: 5-6 hours

Day 6

After you have your breakfast at Tengboche, you set out for a bit more difficult hike compared to other hikes till this day as you pass through steep inclined hills aiming to reach at an altitude of 4350m.

During this hike, you reach Pangboche village with the stunning views of Mt. Ama Dablam from a bit close range than before as you saw from Namche. You even pass through steep hiking trials during this journey making this hike more interesting and fruitful. This hike is estimated to be around 6-8 hours as you don’t want to miss out the stunning scenarios during this hike.

Day 7

Though this day is meant to be the acclimatization day for your adaptation with the increasing altitude and to minimize the risk of altitude sickness, you can have the panoramic views of the mountain ranges and high mountain peaks like Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Cho Yu and other stunning views and the scenarios around Dingboche.

Hike duration: 1 hour

Day 8

After having breakfast at Dingboche, you set out for another difficult hiking trial. First you pass through almost flat trial until you reach to Dughla/Thukla. Glacial Lake, various mountain ranges with the stunning views of Mt. Pumori, Khumbu glacier, mountaineers' memorials, Dughla pass/Thukla pass, Dudhkoshi river etc. are some of the exciting and outstanding scenarios and beautiful places to go through during this hike to an altitude of around 4930m. And, this hike is estimated to be around 7-8 hours hike.

An overnight stay at Lobuche.

Hike duration: 7-8 hours
Accommodation: Tea house/Lodge at Lobuche.

Day 9

After you have your breakfast at Tengboche, you set out for a bit more difficult hike compared to other hikes till this day as you pass through steep inclined hills aiming to reach at an altitude of 4350m.

This hike is the platform to experience the most thrilling experience in this lifetime. Although, the view of Mt. Everest is not clear during this hike, you aim to reach to Kalapatther for the better view of Mt. Everest. This hike is estimated to be around 8 hours hike.

An overnight stay at Gorakshep.

Hike duration: Around 8 hours
Accommodation: Tea house/Lodge at Gorakshep.

Day 10

This day is the most awaited day of this trek where you reach to the highest elevation of this trek which is 5545m. It is the most fruitful hike but difficult to overcome and is the most difficult hike as compared to all other hikes of this trek.

This is the perfect place to have the panoramic views of the mountain ranges and Mt. Everest. It almost takes 3-4 hours to reach to Kalapatther from Gorakshep. After having the dream views of Mt. Everest, you descend and hike towards Pheriche with more care and awareness. And, this hike is estimated to be around 3-4 hours hike.

Hike duration: Around 8 hours
Accommodation: Tea house/Lodge at Pheriche.

Day 11

Depending upon the situation whether you stayed at Pheriche or Lobuche the previous day as you can stay at Lobuche if you cannot descend down to Pheriche on 10th day of your hike, you second to Namche Bazaar in either case. This hike is estimated to be around 7 hours hike.

Day 12

This day is the final day of your wonderful trek in the Khumbu region. And, you reach to Lukla where you first started your trek. This trek is a bit more relaxing as you finally get your legs rested after few days of continuous hike. And, simultaneously this trial is not that difficult as well compared to other hikes of this trek. This hike is estimated to be around 7 hours hike.

Day 13

After breakfast at Lukla, you take an early morning scenic flight back to Kathmandu with the beautiful memories of this wonderful trek. After you land in TIA airport, you are picked up in the private transportation by our staffs and escorted to the luxurious hotel of Kathmandu.

Day 13

You have to check out at your regular time before few hours of your flight schedule. You are dropped off to the airport after successfully accomplishing the exciting and thrilling trekking trial in Nepal.

CANCELLATION POLICY AND PAYMENTS

  • As different permits, flight tickets and other government official documents are necessary so payment is highly appreciable if done 30 days prior of the trekking start date.
  • Payments are supposed to be done 15 days prior to the trekking start date.
  • If cancellation is made 10 days before the trek start date, 50% of the total trek cost will be charged as the cancellation fees.
  • In case of restrictions imposed by the government, bad weather or the emergency situation, the company will not to be liable to any extra cost and will find the most feasible way to proceed the trek.

  • Non-bio degradable materials are not allowed to dispose in the trekking route randomly.

Essential Information

Remember you will be trekking to the world’s highest trekking destination, Everest Base Camp which lies well above 5000 meters beyond the sea level. Here there is less oxygen in the atmosphere which will make breathing a bit difficult.
